Much of Playwicki Farms importance lies in its evolution over time, with the overall history of the site combining to paint a picture of Bucks County from hundreds of years ago through today. The "Farm Story" is such an important part of our heritage but is rapidly disappearing from the Lower Bucks area. Playwicki Farm was once a thriving, working farm with a popular farm stand at the triangle on Bridgetown Pike. Although produce is no longer grown at Playwicki Farm, we are pleased to offer you The Farmers Market at Playwicki Farm. The atmosphere is casual, the open air commerce enticing and the goods are fresh.
All the fruits and vegetables at the market are from local farms, grown in-season, in healthy soil, and picked ripe - giving us the best possible nutritional content, not to mention the best flavor. You will be buying produce that was picked just hours before your purchase. Our other vendors present a wide variety of products ranging from handcrafted soaps to handmade doggie treats.
Opening day is Wednesday, June 1st. There will be a Container Gardening demonstration by Master Gardener June Olson at 4:00 pm. Why not come and see what you've been missing?
