Where to Recycle

Click on the item(s) you wish to recycle and you will be taken to a web site that will help you dispose of these materials.

Trash collection for lower southampton township is as follows;

1.  Regular trash - every Wednesday and Saturday

2.  Recyclables - Wednesday for East side of Bustleton/Bridgetown Pikes, and Saturday for West of Bustleton/Bridgetown.
3.  Yard Waste -The day after Recyclable pickup (if that day is Sunday, pickup will be Monday)

YARD WASTE - residents can recycle yard waste post-season (December 16 through March 31, they may take their yard waste to the Tullytown Resource Recovery Facility (800-869-5566), weekdays 7:00AM to 4:00PM and Saturday 7:00AM to 11:00AM, located at 200 Bordentown Road, Tullytown, PA 19007.

 

DO NOT PUT YARD WASTE OUT WITH TRASH AS THIS IS A VIOLATION OF DEP REGULATIONS.  THANK YOU.

Holidays:  If your collection day falls on a holiday it will be skipped.  Trash and recycling collection will resume on the next scheduled collection day.                                                                    Holidays are:  New Year's Day (1/1),  Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day (12/25).

NO HAZARDOUS WASTE WILL BE PICKED UP!!! Such as car batteries, gasoline, motor oil, pesticides, oil-base paints and other toxic and hazardous materials.  Call Bucks County's Household Waste Hotline at 215-345-3400 for information on disposing of these materials.  FYI - many auto stores accept used motor oil and car batteries

PLEASE:  NO HOME CONSTRUCTION OR DEMOLITION DEBRIS!  If you're putting on a new roof or remodeling your home, you must make special arrangements with us or another waste hauler to remove the debris.                     

Also, you can now include cardboard with the Paper Recycling bundles.   Material such as newspapers and inserts, magazines and catalogs, junk mail, envelopes, file folders, office white, colored and computer paper (staples and paper clips are OK), cereal, tissue, and gift boxes, etc. (remove liners), paper bags, phone books, and wrapping paper (remove metallic paper, bows, etc.).  Corrugated cardborard boxes must be broken down, tied, and bundled in 2 foot by 2 foot in length.
